Yes, we have reopened at droichead with a packed programme of events for this autumn/winter season.
Leanbh Arts Festival for Children (20-25 October) features shows on-site in Stockwell St, and off-site in schools. There’s plenty of fun for all ages!
The best of Irish trad comes to town at Drogheda Traditional Music Weekend
(28-30 November) with Steve Cooney and Tony McMahon topping the bill.
‘The Dead School’ by author Patrick McCabe (2 & 3 December) is a clash of two Irish world views, and a powerful story of love denied. Directed by Padraic McIntyre, the cast includes Sean Campion, Carrie Crowley, Peter Daly, Eamon Owens and Jemma Reeves.
Also coming up is Dublin Gospel Choir (22 November), Christmas Crooners 14 December), Drogheda Brass Band (16 December) and the launch of the new Film Club season and a Silver Screen show on December 15. ‘Maisie Daly’s Rainbow’ (18 December) is a Christmas special for children.
