Information For Visual Artists

The gallery’s curatorial programme is devised through a number of processes including;  special once off commissions, curatorial collaborations and residencies. Work is also conceived and produced inside and outside the confines of the gallery in site specific locations. In addition to exhibitions we present an extensive programme of related talks and workshops with artists each year. We want to transform our gallery into an energetic visual arts space accessed and understood by the community we serve. Moving forward we plan to focus on engaging more with local artists in the North East Region, whilst also making connections with other artists on a national and international level.
