Parking Information
Droichead Arts Centre Stockwell St. is located in the town centre close to on-street and public carparks. The nearest carpark that remains open late for performance/events is the Town Centre Carpark on Dyer St. On-street parking is metered throughout the day but is free after 6pm. We advise patrons to set aside sufficient time to navigate Drogheda’s one-way system in order to secure parking in advance of an event.
Barlow House is located at Narrow West St. We suggest parking in the Town Centre Carpark as above, and then it is only a 5 min walk away.
Walking
Droichead Arts Centre Venue/Theatre and Gallery is located next to the Library on Stockwell Street in Drogheda Municipal Centre, off West Street, the main shopping street of Drogheda.
Droichead Arts Centre Barlow House is located at Narrow West St.
By Car
Drogheda has direct access to the M1 motorway with Dublin Airport and the Port Tunnel are less than a 35-minute drive. Drogheda is a heritage town and features a number of one-way systems. We advise that you refer to a map in advance of your first visit.
By Bus
Bus Eireann operates frequent Expressway and regular services to Drogheda from Dublin, Belfast, Dundalk and Navan. Services operate from Bus Áras, the central bus station in Dublin. An express bus service from Dublin Airport also operates Monday to Saturday. Visit Bus Éireann website
The D1 and D2 operates from Laytown, Bettystown and Mornington, bringing audiences into the centre of Drogheda.
