An innovative late-night programme produced by Droichead Arts Centre, funded by The Arts Council, Drogheda's Nighttime Economy Advisor and the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport, in partnership with several promoters, curators, and artists across Drogheda.

NIGHT POOLS
Further development of these unique light installations, using video projection, and light sculpture. Two large outdoor urban projections Urban Love, and Wilde Love, on the former Choice Building, and the former Methodist Church, will be presented culminating with a large light sculpture at the Methodist Church.
Bringing light to dark spaces, accompanied by the installation of lanterns in shop fronts along the trail. Created by artist Vivienne Byrne, with artists Breda Marron, and Yvonne Dowd Gardiner, supported by Droichead's Outreach and Community Curator, Kieran Gallagher.
MISMANTLER

A fascinating, unique experience, Mismantler is a dark, stream of consciousness fever dream that resembles nothing you've seen before.
NIGHT MOVES CAFÉ
Curated by SJ McArdle at the Coffee Box, Georges St., featuring Green and Shine with Mary Green and Noel Shine, Dagogo Hart, and Peadar Connolly; and Julian Knows.
SPIRAL
Spiral, curated by Jasmine Hastings, and Kelly Hoyne, presents a free-entry, four band hardcore punk show with headliners Pleasure (Leeds, UK) in The Watchtower, McHughs. Support from No Magic, Breakeven and Instruction. There will also be stalls selling merch, zines, tapes and records from distros and labels such as The War at Home Tapes, Bend or Break, Camellia Sinensis Records, Spiral and more.
BLAS DO THEANGA
Presents a night of original music from three of Drogheda’s latest up and coming artists. Sophie Moon, KIDD and Téga, will take the Odd Mollies stage performing music from their respective projects that have been released this year.
DROGHEDA GROOVE MOVEMENT
Presents Sunil Sharpe, one of Europe's most renowned techno DJs, and a leading figure in Irish electronic music, emerging from Dublin's underground techno night. A co-founder of Give us the Night, a volunteer group that has set out to revitalise Irish nightlife. Graft Bru Hub, Abbey Lane.
*COMMUNITY TIES
Cailleach Books and Adroit Press present an evening of community gathering at Barlow House! We will be hosting a participatory workshop that teaches you how to tie basic knots and lashings used in building shelter or setting up impromptu events. Following this, Cailleach Books will be open for local residents, activists and artists to drop-in, share discussions and browse a selection of DIY publishers in a self-assembled bookshop.
Join us for our workshop session or drop in at any time to explore Cailleach Books. Tea and snacks will be provided throughout the evening.
NIGHT TRAD TRAILS
Boyne Trad Fest will host a series of contemporary trad sessions across three bars in Drogheda, Barney Mac's, Clarkes & McHugh's, featuring Gary Curley (button accordion) & friends, Rachael Dooley (harp), Enda Dooley (banjo), & Oisín Bradley (concertina), & more.
NIGHT GALLERIES
Droichead Arts Centre Gallery, Stockwell St will stay open from 9 til late, and The Kiosk Arts Project will stay open from 7.30pm til late.
Designed to build on the success of Droichead’s ongoing NIGHT Moves programme, collaborating with several promoters and curators in Drogheda, including Spiral, Drogheda Groove Movement, Blas Do Theanga, Spiral, Cailleach Books, Boyne Trad Fest, 33-45, SJ McArdle and Vivienne Byrne. Providing new, experimental, engaging intergenerational nighttime cultural experiences across accessible public & shared spaces including McHughs, Odd Mollies, The Coffee Box, Graft Bru Hub at Abbey Lane, The former Methodist Church, Droichead Arts Centre Barlow House, and Stockwell Street, Clarkes and Barney Macs.
