Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Boyne Valley, the Boyne Valley International Film Festival (BVIFF) returns from the 8-10 August for its fourth year in partnership with LOVE Drogheda BIDS. Creating an environment for filmmakers and audiences to connect and celebrate film in the historical medieval town of Drogheda, located in the heart of the Boyne Valley Region, BVIFF will once again feature an extended festival over three days featuring screenings, events and a range of awards to help support filmmakers. With funding from Louth County Council Festivals Fund, and sponsorship from the Clinch Family.
We are open for submissions. We’ve already had films coming in and we can’t wait to see what you’ve made. We know there are some incredible films on the circuit, and we’re excited to see them. We are accepting films under 30 minutes, made after Jan 2022, in these categories: Irish Narrative Short, International Narrative Short, Documentary, Animation and short films Made in the Boyne Valley.
