Droichead Arts Centre are delighted to welcome back The Lourdes Brass Band to our stage this December. The band has always prided itself on being a band for the town of Drogheda. They can be seen many times throughout the year performing for the community from the St Patrick's Day parade, in local shopping centers and at festivals to Christmas carols in the town center and their annual Christmas concert which will as always have an award winning programme and a selection of Christmas favourites.
The Lourdes Brass Band has provided entertainment and services to the town of Drogheda since its establishment in 1959. Catering to musicians of all ages, the band provides teaching and a source of outlet for its members.
