Teenager Lokita and a young boy named Tori have become inseparable after a difficult journey from Africa to Belgium. Living in a migrant centre, they take on jobs such as drug deliveries to pay off the people smugglers who got Lokita into Belgium. When Lokita is offered a lucrative but dangerous job, she can’t afford to turn it down - but it means long weeks away from Tori.
“A dramatic tale, a parable, a humane and societal thriller on the fundamental, economic, social and racial injustices which are at the heart of today’s society” - Cineuropa

Soulmates
A lonely woman, Rachel, descends upon an old house. The house, unoccupied – or so it seems – is her haven. It is where she hides from the world, where she obsessively watches old black-and-white movies to escape from reality. However, the house is not empty. Hiding inside is the Ghost, who has been dead for over a hundred years, who normally cannot be seen by anyone, whose ghostly form has begun to fade away. An instant and undeniable connection develops between our two characters, and both welcome the presence of the other albeit with some trepidation.
