Droichead Arts Centre in partnership with Access Cinema, are delighted to welcome back our Film Club members, with a season of engaging and beautiful films from around the world. Combined with our film club, our Silver Screen returns and we look forward to welcoming back our older audiences, our new audiences, and film lovers across the board. We promise you the wild, and wonderful, the best and most breathtaking independent cinema of the world with 6 amazing films for only €25!

We are delighted to announce that we have just added An Cailín Ciúin to our Film Club, at no extra charge to our membersNominated for The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for this year’s Best International Feature Film category, this beautiful film follows nine-year old Cáit- who has been sent to spend the summer with distant relatives Eibhlín and Seán. Shy, withdrawn and sorely lacking in much needed affection, Cáit begins to blossom under the couple’s care. An Cailín Ciúin is a genuine, deeply felt portrait of the bonds that sustain us.
