Education

Education lies at the heart of Droichead’s Artistic Programme and every aspect of our overall artistic programme directly influences and corresponds to the education programme. Our aim is to create opportunities that provide access to the arts for EVERYONE regardless of age abilities or backgrounds.

Our education programme responds to the communities that utilise the centre by fostering and developing a range of high quality cultural activities and events. Our goal is to increase awareness and understanding of the arts; we aim to engage people both as audience members and as participants through our education programme, Droichead Arts Centre is a vibrant cultural space that is used by community groups, schools, young people, families, members of the public and our dedicated community arts team are on hand to create more exciting possibilities for the future!
