Droichead Print Studio

Droichead Arts Centre would like to provide artists in Drogheda and surrounding areas with access to its print studio at Barlow House for the purpose of printmaking.  It plans to do this on a pilot basis for three months in order to: guage the level of interest among artists; find out more about artists’ needs in relation to printmaking facilities; explore opportunities for long term development of the print studio in a way that meets the needs of artists in Drogheda and the North East.  As this will be a pilot, the use of the facility will be free except for covering the cost of materials used.  In return, Droichead Arts Centre will expect participating artists to contribute to any surveys/ information gathering exercises conducted over the three month period.  Please fill in the form below if you are interested in taking part.

Please note: All artists interested in using the print studio will need to meet Studio Manager, Anthony Collins, for a briefing.  An open day will took place on Saturday April 16th for this purpose.  If you are still interested, please contact Anthony or Carol Ann at 041 9875140 or barlow@droichead.com . Please supply examples of your work. If you do not have significant visual arts/ printmaking experience, you will be required to schedule a more in-depth introductory session.
